Southpointe is a church that welcomes everyone to come just as they are. As you come, you will experience a casual and enjoyable atmosphere with great worship and encouraging messages as you are welcomed by many new friends.
Whether you need childcare or a place for your teens, a greeter will be nearby to help you get to where you need to go. We have safe learning environments prepared for children where they will have fun as they learn and grow. Meanwhile adults will encounter contemporary music and practical, engaging, messages that speak to real life issues. We value the opportunity to support you in finding God’s love and His plan for your life as we Connect, Grow and Serve together.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect on a Sunday?
Expect to meet Jesus and some wonderful warm people who are waiting to welcome you with open arms! We open with songs of worship, followed by a teaching that is straight from the Bible. We stand firm on the truths of the Word of God, and teach directly from it.
How do I find you?
Southpointe is located at 7520 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento. Just look for the large marquee sign out front that says "Southpointe Christian Center". After pulling into the driveway proceed past the front building (Youth Center), and continue to the Main Sanctuary building just beyond. Handicap parking is available near the front of the Main Sanctuary Building.
Is there a dress code?
No, there is no dress code. Come as you are!
Is there a place for my children?
Absolutely! We know that as parents you want a place for your children to learn about the Lord in a SAFE and FUN environment. This is why we have recently opened our new Children's Ministry area; located in our Main Sanctuary building. The check-in station is located in the lobby as you walk in, where you will print a name tag for your child and a matching label for you to keep (This label should be shown upon picking up your child). Our volunteers are trained in child safety, and background checked. You can learn more about our Children's Ministry by clicking here.
Do you serve coffee?
Yes! We serve complimentary coffee every Sunday in the lobby before service starts.
Should I give in the offering?
You are welcome to give, but we consider offering time for those who are regular attenders of Southpointe.
Can I take communion?
We practice open communion. You do not need to be a member of Southpointe in order to join us in communion, but we ask that you are a follower of Jesus.
Still want more information about who we are? Join us for a Southpointe DNA class!
Southpointe DNA is a 4 session class that explores the mission statement and the core of who we are as a church. Each session includes a teaching, a light lunch, and table discussion and focuses on one aspect of our mission statement: CONNECT, GROW, SERVE, with the last session focusing on the Holy Spirit.
We all come from different backgrounds and experiences. Let’s make sure we understand the Southpointe DNA. This is designed to include everyone, not just new attenders. Southpointe DNA occurs multiple times a year and is held after service in the dining room.
Contact the church office or refer to "This Week at Southpointe" in the church bulletin to find out about our next scheduled session!
